About Mukesh Jain
Mukesh Jain has dedicated his life to documenting and preserving the rich history of Indore and Malwa region. Born into a family that has lived in Indore for seven generations, he combines personal narratives with rigorous historical research. After retiring from a career in the Archaeological Survey of India, he established the Malwa Heritage Documentation Project, which has created digital archives of thousands of historical documents, photographs, and oral histories. His writing style makes history accessible and engaging for readers of all backgrounds. Mukesh is also instrumental in organizing heritage walks and cultural festivals in Indore.
