Author Responsibilities

- Reviewing and approving proofs, covers, and other materials in a timely manner
- Ensuring that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights
- Collaborating with our team throughout the publishing process
- Participating in marketing efforts as outlined in your publishing package
Intellectual Property Rights
Content Ownership
You retain ownership of your manuscript and creative content. By engaging our services, you grant Verzove Publication the rights necessary to publish, distribute, and market your work as outlined in your publishing agreement.
Copyright Protection
We assist with copyright registration for your work. However, you are ultimately responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any existing copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
Publishing Rights
The specific publishing rights granted to Verzove Publication will be detailed in your publishing agreement, including distribution channels, territories, formats, and duration.
Payments and Royalties
Service Fees
Publishing package fees are due according to the payment schedule in your agreement. Additional services not included in your package will be billed separately.
Royalties
Royalty rates and payment schedules will be specified in your publishing agreement. Royalties are typically paid quarterly based on verified sales reports from distribution channels.
Refunds
Our refund policy is outlined in a separate Refund Policy document. Generally, publishing services that have already been performed are non-refundable.
Book Distribution
We distribute books through various channels including Amazon, Kindle, Google Books, and other platforms as specified in your publishing package. While we make best efforts to ensure wide distribution, we cannot guarantee specific sales volumes or rankings.
Book Pricing
Book pricing is set based on industry standards, production costs, and market factors. While we consider author input, Verzove Publication reserves the right to make final pricing decisions to ensure competitive market positioning.
Marketing and Promotion
Marketing services included in your publishing package will be delivered as specified. Additional marketing services may be available for purchase. Authors are expected to participate in marketing efforts, including social media promotion, interviews, and events when possible.
Account Termination
Either party may terminate the publishing agreement according to the terms specified in the contract. Upon termination, rights revert to the author as outlined in the agreement, though certain non-refundable fees may apply.
Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
No Guarantees
Verzove Publication cannot guarantee specific book sales, rankings, reviews, or commercial success. Publishing outcomes depend on various factors including market trends, book quality, genre popularity, and marketing efforts.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Verzove Publication be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with our services, including but not limited to lost profits or business opportunities.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, under Indian law.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
